Welcome Health grew out of the practice started by Dr. Rob Lamberts in the beginning 2013. Frustrated with how normal primary care gives little attention to the needs of the patient, he left his old practice and became one of the pioneers of Direct Primary Care. We are so thankful to have found Welcome Health and Dr. Boland, specifically! I love Dr.Lamberts and Dr. Boland and their entire staff. They really care and you get A+ quality care. If it weren't for Welcome Health Augusta I couldn't afford a primary care provider. Dr. Rob is the best! He truly cares about all his patients. He does a lot of services in house. Wait time to see him is like nothing when you come into the office. The best thing is having the app and being able to get in touch with him even after hours if it’s super important. His staff is the best, you feel like family. First of all, they have good doctors. Make sure you keep a written record of conversations with their office because when they make a booking mistake, as they did with me, they will kick you out of their care with a “friendly” letter. I called to clear up the mistake and was told they would not reinstate me. Not the type of people I would go to again. Extremely disappointed.
