GeoVista Credit Union was founded as Fort Stewart Georgia Federal Credit Union in 1964 in Hinesville, GA. In 2007, we expanded to include all individuals and families within Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties, as well as Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. At GeoVista, you are never just another customer, you are a member who has a say in everything we do. That's because credit unions are different from banks. Members are literally the owners of the credit union.

I’ve been a member for 4 or 5 years now. The staff is always helpful. I recommend Sasha Terry as being the most helpful person I’ve dealt with. Extremely knowledgeable, and doesn’t quit working till any issue I have is resolved. I can’t tell you how important that makes me feel. Top notch!
People are nice, but their loan payment system is awful. I have had a car loan with them for a few years and they've changed their system 2 or 3 times. The system doesn't save my payment information so I have to re-enter it each time. And recently, they changed their new system again and it's awful. You have to login to one system to make payment, but it doesn't give you any information. It doesn't tell you how much is due or your due date, and of course it doesn't save your information. DON'T BANK WITH GEOVISTA!!! My husband has been a member of GeoVista, Hinesville banking institution, for the past several years that I've known him. GeoVista has been hit or miss with services. 1st, any time he would have an issue outside of office hours, you would have to wait until Monday - Friday... Good luck, if its the evening/weekend, your out of town or country and have an issue with your card. 2nd, calling and speaking to a person other than Ms. Lou. I received a text from a hacker called my bank and Crystal L ex6003 help me with all my questions. She took the time and patience to take care of my problems. Been with this bank since 2001. We've always had amazing service. But the last week has been hell. They decided to "update" their online and app service and in the process locked us and a lot of other clients out of their accounts. That's fine as long as you can go into a branch. We however live out of state. And have had ZERO access to our account for over a week. We've not been able to reach them via phone or chat. They haven't returned the many messages we've left.
