Having a severe dairy allergy can making eating at restaurants tricky. But I NEVER have to worry at Diablos on Richland! Xavier and his team never make me feel like I am a burden. Today, when I mentioned my dairy allergy, my server, Brandon, with a smile, immediately took off his gloves, went to the kitchen area to washed his hands, and put on fresh gloves. Why have online order as an option if you will get your food faster if you just go in? I ordered on line and had to wait almost 2 hours to get it. I was just 2 orders of hard taco??? I watched people just come in an get there order and have to wait about ten minutes. I don't understand it? I thought it would be faster. Boy was I wrong!!!! The staff don't even care!!!! Won't be back.
I have always loved Diablos. Their Tex-Mex in my opinion used to be far better than any other competitor, that’s why it’s so disappointing to see both locations in Aiken go to complete crap. For a while I boycotted Diablos in hopes that when I finally try it again, they would have gotten their stuff together. Today I finally gave up my boycott and ordered dinner to-go with my family. Placed online order and when i showed up (which was a little early) they had just finished it up. They were super nice and the restaurant was very clean and everything stocked up. I was a first time customer and definitely will be back the food was phenomenal
I've been here twice. The first time I came my mom invited me and I got a bowl with chicken and veggies and it was very dry. The 2nd visit was great either. I got 3 soft steak tacos and saw that they toast the tacos in front of you. The guac I wanted to try again and it was on the brink of turning brown, the lettuce was soggy, the pico was crisp and good, the cilantro was fresh, the limes were too small, but I guess they cut them that way to fit in those to go cups.
